Suppose to get 12" of snow over the next two days. _________________ Ludwig von Mises Institute | Quote: | | I am not to be a shepherd, I am not to be a grave-digger. No longer will I speak to the people; for the last time I have spoken to the dead. |

Had to shovel twice today. About 14 inches (so far -- it's still falling).
Excellent skiing snow, though. Dry, dense powder.

It is better to go to snow rather than have it come to you :D _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

I think we had a bit of rain here today, but I was downtown and there was no rain there. It's 81°F (27°C) right now, and will probably drop to 68°F (20°C) tonight.

As in flu etc? Same time as the rest of the country/world because travelers bring it with them. _________________ If I had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for the problems caused by government, I'd be a fat filmmaker with a baseball cap |

I think it is spring when ants typically swarm, though possibly fall... I forget. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

| Raked another foot of snow off the roof (heavy stuff this time). That's about 3 feet in the past week. A couple of roofs have collapsed. I don't have to use a ladder to get on the roof anymore; I just walk up the pile. Another snowstorm on the way. |

It's a year round issue here, but the peak would be mid-summer. _________________ If I had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for the problems caused by government, I'd be a fat filmmaker with a baseball cap |

That's been one of my concerns in considering job hunting there. I just don't want anything crawling in my bed, shoes or on my person. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

Today was decent. Last couple or few days haven't been too bad. Snow coming tomorrow though with some unacceptable cold. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

| Either that or do some Summer camping, to depussify yourself. Most insects are your friends; they eat the bad insects and gobble up the nasty bacteria-laden stuff that makes you sick, such as dead animals and your shit and skin cells. |

Well, giant centipedes do kind of suck.
I've never been bitten by one, but I've heard it's quite painful. |

Centipedes bite too?
I thought they were disgusting enough, now that I know they bite, its disgusting factor grew exponentially. _________________ What looks like a cat, flies like a bat, brays like a donkey, and plays like a monkey? |

They bite, and have poison. Centipedes are #2 on my shit list of insects. #1 is this little green jumping one on Izu peninsula that takes out little chunks of your skin when they bite. When being bitten all night by them in a field, your legs will look that someone painted them red. _________________ If I had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for the problems caused by government, I'd be a fat filmmaker with a baseball cap |

Have you mounted a centipede head yet?
Is that Izu Japan? If they aren't in HI, then I'll consider that a good thing :D

If they don't bite, then I don't care. Brown recluse have a nasty bite, and I think I had a black widow in a window well last year. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

Ya, Japan. It's the peninsula South of Mt. Fuji that has numerous hot springs. I hate those little jumping green devil bugs there. _________________ If I had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for the problems caused by government, I'd be a fat filmmaker with a baseball cap |
