I'd like to use Amarok 2.x with embedded mysql, and also have Digikam 1.7 installed.
Amarok +embedded requires mysql +embedded naturally.
However, digikam 1.7 demands that mysql is -embedded. I can't imagine why that is - surely embedded means "install the embedded libraries or don't" - why would digikam require that they are absent?
Thanks,

Thanks for the question, I've been wondering the same time.
It must be possible to have both digikam and amarok installed at the same time, WITHOUT having a mysql daemon running. |
