Hi!
In the process of making Opera 11 and dev-java/sun-jdk-1.6.0.23 work together, I figured out that java is segfaulting.
It drops an error message in my home folder.
Maybe anyone can help me with that?
Btw. I use nvidia-drivers-260.19.29.
I am not attaching the whole log, because it is rather long.

I have this same configuration and I have not had an issue with this. I use the testing branch. Are you mixing software branches or using testing? Do you have an example of a Java applet that crashes? |

This system is completely testing too. That error log appears when I try to validate if java is working at all, via www.java.com. _________________ "Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous."

Same error with when serviio console exits. Java and libGL have something going on. Java doesn't like libGL from Nvidia for some reason. |

Yeah, I also still have this error. I gave up on java and opera playing nice on gentoo
There was once a rather short period (I believe somewhen in opera's 10.x series) when this worked somehow.
It never did since. _________________ "Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous."
