icedtea and gtk+ 3.0

I have problem with gnome 2.9x installed as icedtea pulls gtk+ 3.0 as java dependency.

I tried to pinpoint the problem but:

1. gtk+ 3.0 symbols in /proc/$PID/maps appears in area not backed up by any file. There is no gtk+ 3.0 file loaded.
2. strace -f locks the execution in futex
3. There is no call to load gtk+ 3.0 by _dl_map_object
4. Using memory map no file or it debug symbols contains "gtk_widget_device_is_" string except gtk+ 2.0 (in the check for gtk+ 3.0)

Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?

edit: In gdb info symbol does not know anything about gtk_widget_device_is_shadowed.[/b]
