fail to build media-libs/mesa due to libxml2 module missing

during my system upgrade, the media-libs/mesa-7.9-r1 build fails. I already passed the system with revdep-rebuild and it did not help. libxml2 is installed.

Is libxml2 built with pyhon useflag ?

Post your 'emerge --info'.

I see only a xml flag for python:

Try reemerging it and if it helps, time for python updater.

No, I don't need at all. I only have python as a dependency.

Then you probably just need 2.7 and (perhaps) 3.1. Follow correct procedure of the change.

Reemerging libxml2 solved the original problem. Now I just need to find the correct way to clean python(s).
