during my system upgrade, the media-libs/mesa-7.9-r1 build fails. I already passed the system with revdep-rebuild and it did not help. libxml2 is installed.

thank you. pyhton-updater run without errors, but the mesa build problem repeats identically. _________________ Unix is user friendly. It is only careful selecting its friends. |

I see only a xml flag for python:
[ebuild R ] dev-lang/python-3.1.3 USE="gdbm ncurses readline ssl threads (wide-unicode) xml -build -doc -examples -ipv6 -sqlite -tk -wininst" 0 kB
in any case the output
emerge --info

Try reemerging it and if it helps, time for python updater.
Do you actually need all those python versions ? |

No, I don't need at all. I only have python as a dependency. _________________ Unix is user friendly. It is only careful selecting its friends. |

Then you probably just need 2.7 and (perhaps) 3.1. Follow correct procedure of the change. |

Reemerging libxml2 solved the original problem. Now I just need to find the correct way to clean python(s). _________________ Unix is user friendly. It is only careful selecting its friends. |
