Searching the portage tree for kyro should answer that question, dontcha think?
AFAIK, no, Gentoo doesn't have Kyro drivers.

A quick Googleing led me to this (had to go through a German message board to get there):
http://216.239.35.120/translate_c?hl=en&u=http://www.powervr.com/Release.asp%3FID%3D33&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dkyro%2BII%2Blinux%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8
Which seems to be a beta driver (last posted April 2002) which supports Kyro II in Linux. I won't vouch that it will work, because I don't have a Kyro myself, but it claims to. There's no ebuild for it, though, so you'll have to download the source tgz http://www.powervr.com/Drivers/Linux/powervr-2.00.20-234.tgz extract and build yourself (or make an ebuild yourself if you want other kyro users to have one at a later date).
Other than that, in xf86config, you'll just have to choose the generic vesa/svga compatible card, because Kyro II didn't seem to be in the database when I checked (not entirely sure, though). Once you have a XF86Config file, you'll probably have to modify it to take advantage of the above drivers somehow.
Good luck.
P.S. To the moderators: I'm not entirely sure, but I think this was cross-posted in another category (desktop environments) so you might want to freeze one or both of the threads.
Edit: Zoom: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=2094&highlight=kyro
Also has apparently useful information on using Kyros. _________________ They don't have a good bathroom to do coke in.

Yeah, they are working... maybe we'll motivate the developers at powervr with some mails? _________________ Sex is like hacking. You get in, you get out, and you hope you didnt leave something behind that can be traced back to you. |

yeah, the performanec isn't what it could be, i think. afaik, the card runs using pci not agp under the current (2.00.234 ?) linux drivers. I think I read this in the README or something included with the package. Hopefully an 'agp-enabled' driver will be out shortly.
