So, *that's* what tmux is like Seems more configurable than dvtm.
What is the music player? _________________ emerge --quiet redefined | E17 vids: I, II |

The music player is mpd (server) + ncmpcpp as client.
Never tried dvtm, GNU Screen and the "other stuff", but Tmux is amazing. _________________ gentoo::scrotwm::vim::zsh::urxvtd|blog::dotfiles::last.fm |

I was going to make a joke about the "imagine an app covering all the desktop" being better than the picture, but that's kind of what I was thinking, too. |

@ramonoid: nice stuff but i couldn't stay in a no-X environment for too long (the web browsers without X aren't very usable).

For having a eclipse/browser/terminal window 98% of the time i'll agree with you, a wallpaper makes little sense. But whatever, one has to fill that 2% of the time when the machine is idle

That depends on how good are you with the X-less browsers, I'm pretty decent using w3m =)
For coding and basic stuff it's perfect. X for music production, for playing Urban Terror with the girlf or when a lot of stuff in the WWW is required (Opera in my case). _________________ gentoo::scrotwm::vim::zsh::urxvtd|blog::dotfiles::last.fm |

I don't remember, I found it it was a very long time ago somewhere on the internet.

Here is my main desktop. There is a second monitor, which is not shown, that VLC is thrown at for watching videos.

marens, it's Plateau
Works well if you remove the systray (who _actually_ needs a systray? I find that I can live without it despite it having more than 10 items at any given time). KDE menu icon was custom (just grab their icon from kde.org and make a pure white version with transparent bg), notifications are Colibri which look tons nicer than the Plasma ones, and I stole viewitems.svgz from Air theme because otherwise this theme'll use Oxygen's viewitems.svgz, which is very ugly.
All the beauty of KWin and its effects without the fugliness of plasma. _________________ thinkMoult - blog and stuff
