I've been meaning to ask about this for a while, /usr/lib/xulrunner-devel-1.9.2/sdk/lib contains libmozjs.so, libxpcom.so and libxul.so, which come to about 24 MB, and are exact dupes of the same files under /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.2...
Apart from that, /usr/lib/xulrunner-devel-1.9.2 only really contains a few symlinks to /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.2 directories, and a couple ".a" archives...
Should those libs not be symlinked too?
Is everyone else the same, or is there something screwy on my system?
Worth filing a bug about? _________________ "You have to invite me in" |

Hard to tell, but I see those dupes too.
Most of it is obviously a copy of libxul.so. |

I'm not sure, but if you think it's worth a bug, file it. Generally we should avoid duplicate files, it's an obvious waste of space. _________________ http://phajdan-jr.blogspot.com/ |

I'll take a look at the ebuilds myself first and see how the other symlinks in xulrunner-devel are created, I'd prefer to offer a patch/solution with the bug report if I can.
Thank you both for the replies. _________________ "You have to invite me in" |
