I use gnome. My mouse and keyboard were working fine until I emerge world and revdep-rebuild.
I tried in /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 with no luck:
input
mousedev
hid
usb-uhci
2.6.34-gentoo-r11
Any ideas? _________________ Without diversity there can be no evolution:) |

Any chance you've failed to rebuild drivers after xorg-server update ? |

Most likely 'emerge -1 xf86-input-evdev' should suffice, but, just in case , you'd better rebuild all installed x11-drivers/. |

that solved the problem. thank yo so much.
I would have had no idea to try this. I do recall when I updated world and Xorg updated there was a message about drivers. _________________ Without diversity there can be no evolution:) |
