I'm trying to get projectM setup and from what I understand it reads the output from ALSA so it runs as a stand-alone client, not within the audio player as I previously believed. I am running it through a terminal so I can have some kind of output to provide and playing music through rhythmbox.

Code:
kenzie@conquistador ~ $ projectM-jack
dir:/usr/share/projectM/config.inp
reading ~/.projectM/config.inp
IRQ's not enabled, falling back to busy waits: 2 0
[projectM] config file: /home/kenzie/.projectM/config.inp

When it says "connecting to Jack port system:capture_2" it actually stops to think for about 5 seconds before it claims the jackd watchdog times out. I'm not exactly sure what to do here to try and fix this and would greatly appreciate any help that can be provided.

Thanks in Advance!
