Neverwinter Nights Multiplayer Issues

Hey, Have any of you had issues when playing NWN mutliplayer, Every server i connect to times out with the following message box:
"Attempting to find server.
Conection to server has failed.
Server is not responding (Timed out)."

If i run the game as root Yearg!!, everything is fine..

Is there anyway to work around this? , there is no way i am running a game as root.

I am running a grsec lvl 2 kernel.
