Hey everyone
I currently am trying to update my system by running emerge --update --newuse --deep world
and after it emerged a few of the packages, it tried to emerge Poppler and it failed because it says that openssl-0.9.8 is missing from the system. I then tried to run revdep-rebuild so i can fix all broken dependencies but it too is giving me errors due to the missing openssl-0.9.8 file. So i decided to try to reemerge openssl and no matter what I do, portage wants to emerge openssl 1.0.0b-r1 instead of openssl-0.9.8p. How do I go about forcing portage to emerge the 0.9.8 version of openssl instead of the 1.0.0b-r1 version?
Unfortunately, due to these problems my Xorg is not working and also my sshd is not working so I cannot copy nor paste any output from the screen

...that will install the older version.
