| I installed Gentoo last weekend. Now I want to try lxde. I have to unmask some packages according to the Lxde wiki. But the whole /etc/portage is missing. Did I miss something during the installation of Gentoo? Or do I have to create the /etc/portage directory and the package.keywords file myself? |

Yes, you should make them on your own. In future try searching before you post, this question was answered already on Gentoo forums(Google search). |

Moved from Desktop Environments to Duplicate Threads in favor of [Solved] Missing /etc/portage directory, and probably many others.
