Okay, I've been having some very strange problems with my i810 X server.
1) When I switch over to a console (ctrl+alt+f[1-5]) the X server crashes about 30% of the time and has problems with video switching back about 50% of the time
2) Every time I've left my desk tonight the X servre has crahsed. I haven't actualy seen it crash yet, but it does it every time without fail. I tried disabling the screen saver and dpms but that didn't help any.
Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior with their i810? |

| Okay, I just spoke to my friend who also uses this machine (on a different shift than I) and he said he was seeing this problem all last night, and it would crash sometimes when he was in the middle of using it and other times when it was idle. The only error message that gets displayed is that the X server caught a signal 11. |

What, noone else has an i810? Well, you're all lucky 
I think I've fixed it, I recompiled the kernel without APM console blanking and it hasn't crashed since (about an hour or so now... I left it alone for a good 20 minutes and it didn't crash then so I'm feeling pretty good about it now). Here's my /proc/pci for documentation purposes, in case someone else has this problem in the future.
