Hey everyone,

I had installed ghc a few days ago, and it was working fine. Then after a few days of emerging this & that, along with syncs, I've found a way to cause ghci to segfault. I've unmerged it a couple of times and re-emerged it (which is a timely process), but I still get the same problem. Anyone have any ideas what sort of dependencies I might have broke? Here's the ghci message I get:

Code:

$ ghci
GHCi, version 6.12.3: http://www.haskell.org/ghc/  :? for help
Loading package ghc-prim ... linking ... done.
Loading package integer-gmp ... linking ... done.
Loading package base ... linking ... done.
Loading package ffi-1.0 ... linking ... done.
Segmentation fault

:(

Also, here's the out put of emerge --info ghc

Code:

Any ideas as to what I did, and how I can fix it? If there is any other logs I should be looking at, let me know and I'll post them. Thanks for the help.

So, after a bit of digging, I found out that what was broken was Haskell's terminfo bindings. If anyone else has this problem, check out this link http://trac.haskell.org/haskeline/ticket/105.
