|
|
I'm trying to get Squirrelmail running on my Ultra2. I emerged apache php and mod_php. I get to the ebuild mod_php section of the setup but it give me this:
Code: | # ebuild /var/db/pkg/dev-php/mod_php-4.3.2-r4/mod_php-4.3.2-r4.ebuild config
* Due to some previous bloopers with PHP and slotting, you may have
* multiple copies of mod_php installed. Please look at the autoclean
* output at the end of the emerge and unmerge all but relevant
* copies. |
So I unmerge all 3 and tried again. How do I find out what it's complaining about? I saw nothing in the autoclean of the emerge before it. Just to be safe I emerge sync'd just before. What did I miss?
Thanks! |

This warning is printed no matter what, when you emerge this version of mod_php. It is simply a warning about possible problems. After a successful emerge take a look at the autoclean segment and if you only have the one version installed your good. You can also run Code: | /usr/bin/qpkg -I -v mod_php | to list all versions installed. If you don't have qpkg it is part of the app-portage/gentoolkit package.
Good Luck,

Thanks. I guess the message is a bit misleading! |

Well I'll be damned. Sure enough. Squirrelmail is working like a champ. |
