My problem with songbird 1.4.3, the following error log that I found. Please help.

Hi, it seems you are missing the necessary dependencies to run songbird, as it relies on the gstreamer sound library among other things.
If you check out the sunrise overlay there is an ebuild for songbird-bin, this is probably the easiest way to get going.
See http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/Overlay for how to use layman to get the sunrise overlay.

Please also note that as songbird isn't in the official portage tree your post should not have been in the multimedia subforum, but rather in the unsupported software subforum. Just so you are aware for future reference. It isn't a big deal but helps to keep the forums organised and running smoothly.
