Has anyone ever managed to get lm_sensors working on a G3 iMac, purely for the CPU temperature?
Many thanks! _________________ Cheers,

I think it might report the CPU temperature in /proc/cpuinfo, but I'm not positive for G3's if this is the case. _________________ Gentoo PPC FAQ: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-ppc-faq.xml |

On G3s the temperature sensors are not very accurate at all, so virtually noone uses it nowadays. Newer G4s are a lot better. _________________ Cheers,
