I'm currently using Crux PPC on a IBM pSeries 9114-275 server because it has framebuffer support for the GXT4500. I would prefer to use Gentoo but I don't have a serial connector on my laptop and cannot get any of these damn USB-serial cables working.
I'm wondering If it's possible to use the Crux PPC patch with a gentoo-sources kernel and create my own bootable iso? |

| Nevermind, I used the Crux PPC disc to get to a Gentoo stage 3 build. So far so good , had a little issue with hostnames not resolving but I just used the actual IP of the mirror to get the stage3 tarbell. |

IBM GXT4500P is well supported by the linux kernel without any kind of patch. _________________ Μολών λαβέ |

| Yeah I noticed that recently. Shame the minimal install CD doesn't. |
