Thanks for the help
mount -t iso9660 /dev/hda /mnt/cdrom
mount: block device /dev/hda is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
This is my dmesg | tail
hda: command error: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: command error: error=0x50 { LastFailedSense=0x05 }
hda: possibly failed opcode: 0xa0
end_request: I/O error, dev hda, sector 64
isofs_fill_super: bread failed, dev=hda, iso_blknum=16, block=16
hda: command error: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: command error: error=0x50 { LastFailedSense=0x05 }
hda: possibly failed opcode: 0xa0
end_request: I/O error, dev hda, sector 64
isofs_fill_super: bread failed, dev=hda, iso_blknum=16, block |

You cannot mount an audio cd. You can listen or rip it. _________________ My Smooth Computer

Okay, but there is still no way to "mount" an audio CD. If you're looking to play it, Audacious is a nice music player that plays many formats. If you're looking to rip it, I've used grip in the past and it worked well. _________________ Gentoo PPC FAQ: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-ppc-faq.xml |

If you're still having issue with this, take a look at this thread that addressed the same thing. Long story short, you need to enable the cdda USE flag. Thanks. |
