How to use ONLY the SRC_URI? [SOLVED]

I'm modifying an ebuild and I want it to use ONLY the src_uri. After changing the src_uri (and the url is valid), the ebuild still goes to distfiles.gentoo.org. I don't want this. How do I prevent that from happening?
