Hi,
Last week i installed Gentoo on my earlier Mandrake-Server (PII-256MB-60GB). The installation was very easy and the machine runs without any problems.
So i thought, it was the right moment to wipe Windows from my working machine (Athlon900, 394MB, 120GB, ATI Radeon ViVo, SB Live). Want to use OpenOffice instead of MSOffice, and i'm only playing Q3A .
Everything went OK, till I emerged base-kde/kde. I can't get my Radeon and USB-mouse(dev/usb ???) working.
i configured the radeon something like this (cant say it exactly, cause im not @ home).
kernel: with drm for radeon
XF86Config: dri & glx, driver: ati, AGPMode 4, Memory 64MB.
xcuse my english, im from austria |

Open up the XF86Config file and edit the driver line of the video device section to read "radeon". _________________ Windows = a 32 bit extension to a 16 bit GUI on an 8 bit OS written for a 4 bit architecture by a 2 bit company who can't stand 1 bit of competition. |
