Hello folks,
perfectly working system here until today's or yesterday's emerge update on libraries and mc
symptoms: function keys just don't work anymore
client: putty 0.60 (tried all terminal modes)
mc version: latest GNU Midnight Commander 4.7.0.1
ncurses: 5.7-r3 USE=cxx unicode
interesting enough. i tried to revert to an older version, problem persists...
Any clues ?

Hi reddwarf.
Does the problem exist only in an X-terminal, or also in an real (tty) console?
Have you done the necessary update of your config-files after the package update (e.g. dispatch-conf)?
I remember there were some important changes, which could have influence.
I have similar trouble, but only under an x-terminal under KDE4, but only with an old Laptop.
The funny thing is, that the Function Keys from F7 upwards are working.
Instead of e.g F3 i can use [ESC]+[3], but this is no solution for me.
On my second Desktop-PC everthing works fine.
