I love music. But I don't find any music at that link. Just 3 minutes 50 seconds of crap.

hmmm, given the name of the song (without even bothering to play it), I think I can take a guess...

Pretty obvious. Haven't heard from him in a long time. You can do better than a 128kbps recording though, can't you?

Hate to say it, but the enjoyment factor on the two posted songs is vastly in favour of cokehabit in this thread.

Bowie always wins

I thought it was a really well done mash up and a great example of scratching from a master

Look, I'm sorry but I can't keep track of every crap band they try to push in the commercial breaks on RTL2 (for non-germans: RTL2 is what the yobbos watch).

What was the source for this? I'm wondering because, although it is a 320 kbps file, it has many of the same sorts of distortions as I usually hear in 128k and 160kbps mp3's.

then it's wrong because i encoded it in 128bit stereo ogg vorbis.

Also you should know that the actual bit rate will vary across the recording. It is quite possible that the start is 320.

Just so you should know, winamp says it is between 125 and 135
Code:
Length: 3:49
Average bitrate: 128 kbps
File size: 3,685,849
Nominal bitrate: 128 kbps
Max bitrate: 128 kbps
Channels: 2
Sampling rate: 44100 Hz
Serial number: 4287
Version: 0
Vendor: Xiph.Org libVorbis I 20020717

OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

That's the full mix! Sorry

Yeah that is 320. The quality is probably to do with the fact that it is a full vinyl set recorded live. Although it's not that bad.... or bad at all. I hear the usual vinyl crackles.

There will be generation loss in any analogue recording and that will make it's way onto a digital recording

Zero.

no. I never did. Unlike you I have a taste in music and do have at least some education. Now go back and watch RTL2, SuperRTL and DSF. Those seems to be your prefered environment.

Shadow is a well known trip-hop DJ. The rapping part of the song is more hip-hop but added with "Lets Dance" makes it whatever the DJ is trying to create
