With usplp module:

 ~ $ sudo modprobe usblp
~ $ lpstat -t

i560 accepting requests since Wed 30 Dec 2009 10:51:12 AM CST
printer i560 now printing i560-0.  enabled since Wed 30 Dec 2009 10:51:12 AM CST

Scanner:
Code:
~ $ sudo sane-find-scanner

  # sane-find-scanner will now attempt to detect your scanner. If the
  # result is different from what you expected, first make sure your
  # scanner is powered up and properly connected to your computer.

  # No SCSI scanners found. If you expected something different, make sure that
  # you have loaded a kernel SCSI driver for your SCSI adapter.

found USB scanner (vendor=0x04b8 [EPSON], product=0x0116 [EPSON Scanner]) at libusb:003:005
  # Your USB scanner was (probably) detected. It may or may not be supported by
  # SANE. Try scanimage -L and read the backend's manpage.

  # Not checking for parallel port scanners.

  # Most Scanners connected to the parallel port or other proprietary ports
  # can't be detected by this program.

Code:

~ $ sudo scanimage -L

No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the
sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation
which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages).

Even if i forse scanner recognition by putting driver on the top of list in dll.conf ,scanimage runs for a long time and returns nothing .

Could it be something like access rights to usb device?Do not know.
Please help.Do not want to install other linux version just because of it.

Take a look at the contents of /etc/group.
It should contain "lp" and on the same line a username.
Same for scanner.
Gerard.

This means you're in the scanner group but not the lp group.
Code:
usermod -a -G lp oka
