Seamonkey 2.0 Composer "Saving File Failed"

i cant but scratch my head around this. i tried to mess with the extensions, html, htm, text, txt... i keep getting that message. files appear on my hard drive but are 0 kb and have nothing inside them. please help.

seamonkey 2.0 is still hard masked. i rolled back to 1.18 and now composer saves just fine.
