I upgraded rxvt-unicode today (rxvt-unicode-9.06-r3), and noticed that normal beeps (backspacing in a shell, Irssi highlights, etc.) never actually made an audible beep sound --- PC speaker or otherwise. I would downgrade, but the older builds now conflict with a file supplied by ncurses, and I'd rather not dink around with it at the moment. Can someone confirm or deny that they're seeing the same behavior with the above version of rxvt-unicode? I was on rxvt-unicode-9.06 before. |

It's not rxvt-unicode, it's xorg-sever 1.7. |

Okay, that is plausible too, I upgraded to xorg-server 1.7.1 at the same time. Is there a bug report or forum post or anything? I'm not seeing it. |
