I'm trying to get zoneminder to emerge.
Portage isnt giving me any error, however during the emerge of zoneminder it freezes here:
checking for perl module MIME::Entity...

Thanks for the help Mike.
I've now tried what you suggested, same problem.
But this snippet has me scratching my head.
Code: | cam ~ # g-cpan -i MIME::Entity
-CPAN: Storable loaded ok (v2.18)
Going to read '/root/.cpan/Metadata'

Huh, that's the second time this week that this exact same problem arises - This thread is the other one. Don't know if they found a solution.
There is a similar looking bug report, maybe it can help. |

I had this problem too. I did this and then it emerged.
Code: |
emerge Email-MIME Email-MIME-creator && emerge zoneminder
|
It looks like there is a dependency not accounted for in the ebuild. I am not sure which of the two packages I did made it work (or if it was one of their dependencies). Perhaps some one could do them one at a time and figure it out, then we could file a bug about it. _________________ These go to eleven. |

Oh the other thing I had to do was uninstall nginx due to a file collision. I had already decided to use cherokee instead so no problem for me. _________________ These go to eleven. |
