| Just read the 'Gentoo x11-libs/libxcb 1.4 Upgrade Guide' before upgraing to x11-base/xorg-server-1.6. After an emerge --sync I have x11-base/xorg-server-1.6.3.901-r2 listed as x86, but libxcb-1.4 is listed as ~x86. The latest x86 version of libxcv is 1.1. My system is almost completely x86, and I often run emerge -D world. Should I mask >=x11-base/xorg-server-1.6 until x11-libs/libxcb-1.4 is stable? |

Wait and --sync again in 1-2 hours and it will be fixed.
You --synced in a bad time. |

My internet connection is really slow, so committing about 90 packages to stable takes some hours. Sync in about an hour from now on and you will see no problems anymore. _________________ Christian Faulhammer, Gentoo Lisp project, GNU Emacs wrangler
