hm, with 3d apps compositing is disabled when you go fullscreen.
And there is another thing:
there is a bug, when you have composting on for a long time, X and kwin start to eat a lot of CPU. Diabling composite and turning it back on solves that.

It's not in my case, as I have dual displays. "Fullscreen" is only that of a single monitor and the other monitor still displays composited windows. Also, (g)mplayer isn't a 3d app. _________________ Game! - Where the stick is mightier than the sword! |
