formatting over 1 of 2 NTFS partitions

I want to partition / over my Windows 7 RC part but I can't tell the difference between my Windows 7 part and my Windows XP part which are either /dev/sda3 or /dev/sda5 both of which are NTFS. How do I take a quick peak inside both of those partitions in order to decide which one to format over?

I figured it out myself I mounted both NTFS partitions and cd'ed into the directories to see that sda5 was Windows 7 RC and sda3 was Windows XP.
