|
|
Yesterday, I asked to create a poll regarding stabilization of KDE4 in the Desktop Environments forum. Earthwing was so nice to do that: cjubon wrote: | Now that KDE-4.3 is unmasked for amd64 and x86, I'd like to see a poll in this forums as to which version of KDE4 should be the primary candidate for stabilization efforts: KDE-4.2.4 or KDE-4.3.0?
I'd definitely vote for 4.3!
Could a moderator please be so nice do create a poll? Thanks.
mod edit: Poll added as reqested. Note that this is not an official poll in any way. --Earthwings |
Could someone explane me what an "official" poll is, given that normal users can't create a poll in that forum anyhow? What a the forum rules concerning creation of polls? Couldn't find anything in the FAQ, nor in the forums themselves.
Thanks. _________________ Mandrake Dec 2001 · Debian "Woody" Aug 2002 · Gentoo Jan 2004 · Funtoo Oct 2009 |

I added that note to make clear that the poll wasn't set up by developers looking for feedback. Otherwise people might get the impression the results of the poll would be used by them to decide which one to stabilize.
The forum policies are that users cannot create polls in support forums. It is possible to create polls in Gentoo Chat though, for example. _________________ KDE |
