When i restart my computer flash in firefox doesn't work anymore until I reinstall it.
This is before I reinstall

I get the same problem ... reinstalling fixed it, but a faster method I just tried (and it worked) is to run:

Oddly, that works, too. I suspect a bug in firefox as this didn't start happening until I moved to 3.5.x. I see there's a 3.5.3 in portage, I should try that. |

This should only affect you if you have a flash player installed in your home directory. Check the contents of ~/.mozilla/plugins/ and make sure you don't have a libflashplayer.so in there. If you do, delete it and the problem should be fixed.

This worked for me on amd64 and FF 3.5.3.
