Ola

Yesterday I updated gentoo.
I am quite regular, at least 3 times a week I update.

So first I got notice to update portage. OK
Than I had like 120 new updates (!?!), but OK.

At the end I revdep-rebuild and I got this error:
there are no ebuilds to satisfy "gnome-base/eel:2"
(also a lot of broken links).

How can I get this to work, kheh?

I do not know what to post, since I am newbie,
but I can post anything you need to help me resolve this.

Thank you

'eel' was removed from Portage because nothing used it

# emerge -C eel
# revdep-rebuild -i

Hello ssuominen,

Sorry for delayed reply,
My laptop is kinda old and it takes it's time to compile...

I would like to thank you for prompt answer, thank you.
I am still blown away by accuracy and lightning fast response of Gentoo community!

Here is my feedback:
I first removed that eel thingy, as you suggested,
and revdep-rebuild got me a bit further,
but still not all the way through...
It stopped at gstreamer or something alike.
So I did revdep-rebuild again.
I got a bit further, and third time I ran revdep-rebuild
it finally got all apps installed correctly.

That's all folks!
