wait... are we playing the same game?
i didn't know you could put an array of addons just like that, are there any "jungle/rune respawn timer" ones?
some people i played with were spaming some macros that were announcing rune respawns... those sort of things give an unfair advantage imo
what's next? something that automatically announces misses and last hits for you? |

Yer there are quite a few UI addons now (I am using MiniUI and BardUI)
The rune respawn isn't some unfair adv, everyone know when the runes respawn (every even min) _________________

I'm available to PM as well.
I've got 5 invites, but possibly 6 because it says one of my invites were never activated, but it shows me the key, so I could probably just give that key to someone.
It's been at least 2 or 3 months since I've used an invite, so it's safe to say that whoever I gave it to doesn't want it. |

I just tried this game, thanks to Kingoftherings invite.
Install and gameplay works like a charm.
However, I'm missing some ingame tutorial or offline-mode as I have been flamed and vote-kicked because I am such a noob (never played dota or anything alike). |

It is indeed a very hostile games for noobs, just play the No-Stats Server, there it is usually not as problematic. _________________ The Creature from Jekyll Island. |

In the Create Game window, choose a practice match. But I don't think Practice allows for NPC heroes, which kind of sucks. |

Open Beta on the 31st people (ie this coming wednesday) so go try it. OpenBeta probably only going to be a couple of weeks (more for load testing & more patches, possibility of a couple new heroes)
If you haven't tried it yet do! _________________

Do you mean that after the couple of weeks for the Open Beta, they're going to release the game? |

not really, just some empirical results dotted here and there.
the ogl renderer is no where near optimised unlike the dx renderer (its not really bad but does show up for lowspec cards)
the ogl renderer got setback during the Neva scam & Vievi... _________________

Omg, guys...
This is the most addicting game ever!! I've been playing the open beta and I only have strength enough to quit it when it became a paid game! Hahaha I could buy it, but I don't want to be addicted again. D: |
