Hi there,
After installing a gentoo derivate papuglinux, I did the emerge --sync and after emerge portage
The following circular dependency problem exposed:
sys-apps/file-4.23 'merge' depends on
dev-lang/python-2.5.4-r3 'merge' (hard)
app-admin/eselect-1.1.1 'merge' depends on
sys-apps/file-4.23 'merge' (medium)
dev-lang/python-2.5.4-r3 'merge' depends on
app-admin/eselect-python-20090606 'merge' (hard)
app-admin/eselect-python-20090606 'merge' depends on
app-admin/eselect-1.1.1 'merge' (medium)
Is there solution for this problem and if it can be solved by disabling USE flags which dependency must I change and how?
I saw that code can be copied and pasted but I don't know howto do this from a bash-shell???

| you can try emerge --nodeps -1 -u file python eselect |

| once done it's wise to revdep-rebuild or re-emerge the same files again (because their dependencies will be resolved this time) |
