booting native installed windows xp in vmware

I have tried to run my native installed windows xp thru vmware with no luck. Then I installed Intel application accelerator and xp could boot in both real and emulated mode. I have experienced some crashes in real mode, so I uninstalled the Intel application accelerator and now all works fine. If someone has the time to try this tip in his computer and tell me if it works, I would appreciate it.
