after I update to gnome2.26 ,I cannot set cpufreq in panel applet.

but now I still can set cpufreq using cpufreq-set .

before update to 2.26, when in 2.24, panel applet for cpufreq is ok .

what is the problem ?

thanks

2.26.2 it works well for me, but it changes after amount of time what is because of /etc/cpufreqd.conf i think.

I have no /etc/cpufreqd.conf .
I only have /etc/conf.d/cpufrequtils which is about cpufreq-set command .

Now I can not select cpufreq in gnome panel , but I can set it with root using cpufreq-set .

I have not modified kernel , I only run " emerge gnome -av" which updates to 2.26 .

So maybe gnome 2.26 changes some config about it .

Or if I should add myselft to which group ?

Another question: when AC is on or off , it always change to "on demand " , I don't want AC event to change the state of cpufreq . How to set this ?

Thanks
