ieri sera ho fatto un emerge -u world e aggiornato gnome-base/bonobo-activation dalla versione 2.2.2 alla versione 2.2.3
dopo di che evolution 1.4.3 ha smesso di funzionare... ho approfittato della cosa per upgradare alla versione 1.4.4 ma anche questa segnalava un errore (che purtroppo non ho trascritto) nella attivazione OAF di tutte le componenti (calendario, posta, news, etc.etc.) e il programma pur aprendosi restava inutilizzabile (niente menu, niente visione della posta già arrivata o inviata, schermate vuote su tutto il resto)
downgradando bonobo-activation alla versione precedente nessun problema. è successo qualcosa di simile ad altri?

Io non uso evolution pero' se ci posti l'errore che ti da magari troviamo una soluzione.

Io uso evolution 1.4.4 e ho le bonobo-activation 2.2.4, nessun problema

ecco gli errori... appaiono durante il caricamento, quando si illuminano le quattro icone nella parte inferiore dello splash screen
stessa cosa con bonobo-activation 2.2.4

l'altro giorno sono tornato alla 2.2.2 e ora evolution va... quindi mi accontento... magari il problema non è dovuto al pacchetto bonobo-activation ma alla combinazione di quello e qualche altro e adesso non ho proprio tempo di far prove per risolvere

oggi ho aggiornato gnome, e lo stesso problema avuto con evolution si è presentato anche all'avvio del DE
però credo di aver trovato una soluzione... ho killato tutte le istanze di bonobo-* presenti, poi ho riavviato il computer e adesso funziona tutto normalmente
NB: probabilmente riavviare il computer non serve, io l'ho fatto perchè avevo da provare un kernel riconfigurato...
