The forum and search

Hi,

I am trying to find some old posts. I can use something like: "find all posts by" but the search won't show them up. For everything I tried search doesn' t seem to show anything older than winter 2008. Why is that? Also google and bing ... don't seem to list those posts. I know they are there. What is the deal with that?

I just tried to run a search of my username using the "Search For Author" option, and it showed all my posts dating back to 2004. If you search for general terms I have noticed that it will only display a few pages of the more recent entries. You might want to try a combination of "Search for Keywords" and "Search for Author" for better results, or just use more search keywords.
