Posted: Fri Apr 10, 2009 9:01 am Post subject: econf failed when I am trying to setup gnome |
|
|
Hi
sorry if you had this topic but i could not find any information about my problem so i have to start new one.
I am a new comer in Gentoo and i have a problem with gnome installation on kernel-2.6.29-gentoo-r1.
When I am trying to emerge gnome I got "econf failed"
I also tried:
Code: |
gnome --update --newuse --deep world
emerge --depclean
revdep-rebuild
|
but it was useless so i will be grateful if you will help me to handle.
thank you in advanced
Here the logs

thank you for repley.
actualy no I did not enough time to play with anything. my system had started such behaviour as soon as I had emerged gnome for the first time:(
BTW
Code: |
gcc-config -l returns
[1] x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-4.1.2 *
[2] x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-4.1.1
CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu"
