The only other alternative is to sit tight and keep an eye on Gentoo's/Novell's bugzilla. |

The only blocker for mono-2.4 is bug 257313, otherwise I've been using it and the pre-releases for >1 Month and it's working better than mono-2.2. This is the list of packages to put in your /etc/portage/package.unmask file: Code: | =www-apache/mod_mono-2.4
=dev-dotnet/xsp-2.4
=dev-dotnet/libgdiplus-2.4
=dev-dotnet/gluezilla-2.4
=dev-lang/mono-2.4
=dev-lang/mono-basic-2.4
=dev-util/mono-debugger-2.4
=dev-util/mono-tools-2.4
=virtual/monodoc-2.4 |
So as long as you don't try to emerge openoffice with USE="mono", you should be seeing no problems. |
