I have emerged teamspeak2-sever-bin. I emerged it with and without the sql useflag. When I start the server with /etc/init.d/teamspeak2-server it dies with two red excemationmarks. I have NO LOG whatshowever, nothing in /var/log/messages, /var/log/debug, /var/log/teamspeak2-server/, /opt/teamspeak2-server/ NOTHING!
When I start the Teamspeak server via commandline, the only response ist:
Killed!
Am I supposed to have magical powers to determin what is happening? I am using gentoo-hardened Kernel, is it that what causes the problem? I do not see, what to do from here.
Regards

This has something to do with the security of the kernel. I had the same problem a while ago. If I recall what I did, I'll post here.

What you can do to test is
Code: | su teamspeak2 -s/bin/bash
/opt/teamspeak2-server/server_linux -db="/var/lib/teamspeak2-server/server.dbs" -ini="/etc/teamspeak2-server/server.ini" -log="/var/log/teamspeak2-server/server.log" -pid="/var/run/teamspeak2-server/server.pid" -sql="/opt/teamspeak2-server/sql/" -tcpquerydocs="/opt/teamspeak2-server/tcpquerydocs" -httpdocs="/opt/teamspeak2-server/http/"
|
And see what it outputs. |
