I have an AverMedia AverTV Hybrid Volar Max, downloaded and installed the linux 64 driver from their website, and got it kinda working. When I run tvtime (or through mplayer for that matter), the terminal continuously displays Code: | videoinput: Can't read frame. Error was: Invalid argument (#) | and is stuck displaying a single frame while the CPU usage goes to 100%, though the audio continues uninterrupted. Also, /var/log/messages spams the following at a ridiculous rate: Code: | Apr 5 23:06:02 beetle [ 1072.185451] ehci_hcd 0000:00:1d.7: reused qh ffff88007e8451e0 schedule

One odd thing I noticed is that if I continuously move the mouse around on the screen the video starts working (though still not entirely reliably), and the CPU usage drops to something reasonable (20% or so). It also froze on me a few times while messing around though, both while moving the mouse around in circles over the video window and while not.
I tried with and without compiz, and in gnome and fluxbox (it actually seemed to work better in gnome -- the moving mouse thing worked more reliably).
It'd be nice to get it working, but I'm not holding my breath... any ideas? _________________ Core2Duo T7100 1.8 ghz mini-itx, Nvidia FX220: Gentoo/Gnome/CompizFusion:XGL
