Can the developers please remove the $header$ from config files stored in cvs? Frequently, when emerging new packages I get many config files that need to be 'upgraded', but when I diff the new files with the old ones, the only difference is the contents of $header$ (and frequently the only difference there is the date....).
If cvs info is needed inside the file (for debugging, etc), perhaps $Revision$ would be better.

This is the reason why I stopped comparing the new config files. I will check them out only if something isn't working like I expect, or I get a special note about this (like in openSSH). _________________ Do you want your posessions identified? [ynq] (n) |
