With KDE 4, kdebluetooth is incorporated with the KDE Solid framework. I've enabled bluetooth when I built solid, but how the hell do I use it? With kdebluetooth there were several tools that were able to interface with other bluetooth devices but I have no idea how to do it with KDE 4. Is this function even available yet? |

Hi,
The app for doing this was kdebluetooth4. But it is not in the portage and it
would not compile if you have the new qt-4.5.
Looks like the kde developers have overlooked this as solid have been patched
with support for bluetooth later. So for bluetooth it is 1-0 to gnome vs kde.

Thanks for the info. Knowing the specific name I was able to find a bug already open for this: https://bugs.gentoo.org/234948?id=234948&GoAheadAndLogIn=1
Not sure why it is set to 'RESOLVED LATER', though, especially if people can get it to compile (regardless of whether it works or not) |
