Hey!
I'm having trouble getting xscreensaver to work with webcollage, or even with just grabbing screenshots of my desktop to manipulate.
I'm getting the error above, and I'm not sure what's going on. I understand webcollage should be filling /tmp, but it's not, and -verbose doesn't show me any useful information.
Does anyone know how best to debug this? |

Hrm. Looking at the log file when I make it verbose and log, I get:
'xscreensaver-getimage: 0x1e0014d not top-level: turning off grabDesktopImages'
What's that all about? How do i make the window a top level window then?
Still haven't figure out how to fetch images with xscreensaver from the web.. Ideally I'd love to get random imagery from Flickr or some such and post it as a screensaver.... Any help would be muchly appreciated. |
