Anyone have any experiences with suspend+resume on a laptop using the opensource ATI driver? I find that the laptop suspends, but on resume, the screen remains blank although the system responds to input and seems to behave normally otherwise. Switching back and forth between X and a text console makes the screen flicker as the video mode changes, but no output ever appears. Any assistance getting it to resume correctly would be greatly appreciated. The card is a Radeon Mobility X600, thanks. |

OK, so I discovered that the blank screen is a weird effect from KDE 3.5's "laptop closed switch" feature. If you just execute pm-suspend from a root shell, it suspends and resumes fine. |
