Because I'm Guru i said it
This is what i did:
#emerge -C mozilla
#emerge /usr/portage..../full_path_to_mozilla/mozilla-1.0-r2.ebuild
( downgrade )
Now it works but if i get into a flash site then it crashes:
/usr/lib/mozilla/mozilla-bin: relocation error: /opt/netscape/plugins/libflashplayer.so: undefined symbol: __builtin_vec_new _________________ All for one and one for All

NO! The flash library is compiled with gcc 2.95-3 and will not run with a mozilla that is compiled with GCC3. I recommend just doing a binary install of mozilla if you want flash support. _________________ "We who are about to die salute you!" |
