I have no problem with my install, everything works perfectly but I was just wondering why my kernel saves to arch/x86/.... instead of arch/i686/...
make.conf shows chost as i686 also.
Any reason why? Any need to be concered?

This is normal ever since a lot of the i386 and x86_64 code was consolidated in the kernel, even if you build on a 64-bit system the kernel image is in x86 now, with the x86_64 directory only being a symlink to it. _________________ "You have to invite me in" |
